Parboil the pork ribs in a small pot of boiling water for a few minutes to remove impurities. Turn off heat, rinse and set aside.
Transfer the clean pork ribs into your soup pot.
Place the rest of the ingredients into the soup pot. Pour in just enough water to cover the ingredients and bring to a boil. Once it has boiled, reduce heat and simmer for about 1.5 hours - 2 hours until the meat is tender. Season with salt to taste.
